- Arrives pre-wetted and ready for immediate use
- Saves time and effort vs. traditional offline sample preparation cartridges
- Protects columns and suppressors
- Removes up to 0.01% non-ionic surfactant (e.g., Triton™ x-405) from 500µL of sample
- Removes up to 20mg protonated carboxylic acids (e.g., benzoic acid at pH <4)
- Leaves sample pH unchanged
- Filters better than 80% of particulate matter greater than 20µm in diameter
Increase the lifetime of your analytical columns and suppressors by removing particulates and hydrophobic organic substances including non-ionic surfactants, hydrocarbons, aromatic dyes, and some carboxylic acids that can foul them using automated inline sample preparation. Sample preparation is performed inline, within the Dionex Guardcap vial cap, and automated by the autosampler. Dionex Guardcap vial caps can improve the reproducibility of analyses because important parameters such as timing, flow rate, and delivery volume are easily set and controlled by the autosampler.
Convenient and Easy to UseDionex Guardcap HRP vial caps come in the familiar filter cap format used with Dionex PolyVials. Unlike traditional offline sample preparation cartridges, Dionex Guardcap HRP vial caps require no time-consuming pretreatment procedures prior to use--simply install these functionalized vial caps on your sample vials and load your autosampler.
