Nalgene desiccators are a safe and affordable alternative to glass desiccators. They're shatterproof and light weight for safety and ease of handling. If you move desiccators around the lab between work stations, you'll appreciate the weight difference between a Thermo Scientific Nalgene plastic desiccator and its glass equivalent. You'll also be impressed with the cost difference. A Nalgene vacuum desiccator can easily save you 60% on the purchase price versus glass, and protect you and your staff from personal injury and the related costs tied to the fragility and heavy weight of glass alternatives.
