    How much will I get for my used Discrete analyzer or Flow Injection analyzer (FIA) system?

    The value of your current discrete analyzer and FIA system will be evaluated by trained Thermo Fisher Scientific personnel based on type of instrument, age and condition. We’ll ask you some questions on the history of your system in order to provide an accurate estimate on its value.

    Which discrete analyzer systems are eligible for a trade-in credit toward a new Thermo Scientific Gallery or Gallery Plus discrete analyzer?

    Most discrete analyzer and FIA systems are eligible for a trade-in credit. Eligible systems include, but are not limited to:

    • Thermo Scientific Arena 20, Arena 20XT, Arena 30 and Arena 60
    • Thermo Scientific Aquakem 200, Aquakem 250, Aquakem 600
    • Konelab Aqua and Konelab Arena
    • Other vendor discrete analyzer and flow injection analyzer systems

    Please note that the discrete analyzer system must include at least photometer with four filter positions, dispensing probes, an incubator to control the reaction temperature and a mixer to be eligible. The flow injection analyzer must be at least two channel system with an injector, autosampler and detectors. Stand-alone modules, for instance, are not eligible.

    The value of the system traded in will be dependent on type, age and condition. 

    If I decide to trade in my discrete analyzer or FIA system, how do I get it to you?

    Leave the heavy lifting to us. If you decide that you would like to trade up to a new discrete analyzer system, we will arrange for proper transportation that is free of charge.

    What happens to my old Discrete analyzer or flow injection analyzer system?

    Your old discrete analyzer or flow injection system will undergo an inspection to determine if any of the components can be reused or recycled. Rest assured that all activities relating to the processing of your system will be managed in an environmentally responsible way.

    I am interested in trading up to a new system, but I am worried about method transfer, what can I do?

    We have your back on method transfer and training with specialized staff who can give you a helping hand. Do not hesitate to reach out to your local sales contact for details.

    Which countries are participating in the Lab-Forward Trade-In Program?

    These promotions are available to customers in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the USA, and unless otherwise stated on each product page. Other restrictions may apply.
