Knowledge Culture Workshops
Application-based upstream and downstream workshops
Due to the current status with the COVID-19 virus outbreak, we are currently under strict guidelines to restrict travel to our Cramlington site. We thank you for your understanding in this important notification and will plan to reschedule our Knowledge Culture Events in the near future when the current situation alleviates. We will send a full communication with finalised event dates in due course.
Workshops at our Customer Evaluation Centre’s (CEC) in mainland Europe and Cramlington, UK are free of charge to attend. Attendee numbers are limited to ensure a personal interaction with peers and our experts plus the opportunity for hands-on experience with our technologies.
For each workshop, we aim to have a mix of both internal Thermo Fisher Scientific presenters as well as industry specialists from leading biopharmaceutical companies.
In addition to our workshops and technical discussions, attendees have the opportunity to tour our single-use consumables manufacturing facility onsite.

| To Be Confirmed | Vaccine manufacture workflow solutions - 2 Day event This workshop will be split over 2 consecutive days with the option to attend one or both days. Day 1 will focus on the upstream solutions and case studies for vaccine production, including vaccine specific media formulations and upstream technologies. | October 15, 2020 | Continuous processing in upstream bioproduction This workshop will focus on continuous processing in upstream operations, in which we will discuss the differences of fed-batch versus perfusion.
